Shipping, Refunds, & Lead time

Shipping

All portraits to be shipped to US addresses are shipped via Priority Mail. Those headed to addresses outside of the US will be shipped first class. If quicker delivery is need please let me know and we can check out other options and upgrades.

All orders are sent signature required at delivery.  This is in the hope your drawing will be handed to a human and not left on your porch in the rain.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS (outside the US) are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. These fees and taxes and any additional charges for customs clearance are levied once a shipment reaches your country and must be borne by the recipient (it is NOT included in the item price or shipping charges).

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.

Refunds

My goal is you will love your artwork. Before shipping I will email a scan for approval. If after receiving your drawing it’s not what you were imagining, please contact me immediately, return it in within 7 days and I will make corrections or refund purchase price. My best advertisement is word of mouth, if you aren't delighted when you see it, I don’t want it hanging on your wall.

Additional

As all of my work is custom, your portrait is entered on my calendar only after purchase has gone through. Please keep in mind if I quote a lead time, that is as of that day and can change at any time as new orders come in.

Drawing time is generally about three weeks plus shipping,  often much longer at the holidays. If time is a concern please let me know and I give you a more definite date. Rush orders may be available for an additional 20% over listing price.  Drawings are not begun until order is placed.

Photos

I will need several photos, one from the angle you’d like the portrait, and details you want  included. Please point out what is most important to you, such as significant landscaping, a mail box or basketball hoop, etc. Landscaping can always be rearranged to better show of the home. Seasons can be adjusted, pets included.  Just let me know what you'd like.

Also, please keep in mind all I have to base your portrait on is your photos. Colors will look different in photos then in life. They will look different on my monitor then in life. They will look different throughout the day in life. I will do my best to match colors as I see them, but please understand there is no way I can promise an exact color match. But I will promise that if you are not happy I will refund your purchase
